Thespian Films is a London-based award-winning production company that creates distinct visionary work with a particular emphasis on the horror and dark-comedy genre.
It has been created in 2014 by Francesco Gabriele with the aim of emphasising the creative role of actors on set while realising visually stunning characters' driven films to move, inspire and entertain.
Having built a roster of frequent collaborators and industry contacts over the years, Thespian Films has developed and produced many award-winning films: from low budgets to large scale projects.
Francesco Gabriele is an award-winning producer and director. Born and raised in Italy, he holds an MA in Filmmaking from the London Film School and is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles. He lives in London where he founded the production company Thespian Films. He has directed and produced numerous films that have been selected and awarded in over 150 festivals worldwide. Francesco is a member of Directors UK and the Screen Acting Program Lead on the BA Acting course at St Mary’s University in London.
